Lenton Walking Maps

All the following downloads come as PDF files and can be printed in black and white as well as colour.

My Lenton Healthy Heritage Walks 4 page leaflet was first published as an insert in the Spring 2008 edition of News From The Forum, Lenton's free community newspaper. It contains two maps: Discovering Lenton and the Dunkirk and Wollaton Walks. Uses black and white throughout.

For the Discovering Lenton walk I have compiled a more detailed large print (12 point) guide with additional text and photographs: Discovering Lenton Walk Map additional text. It has 7 pages and may take some time to download as it's a 21Mb file.

If you would like more information about the History of The Lenton Centre and the Willoughby Street Area then you may find this Willoughby Street History of interest. It is based on the history panels on display in The Lenton Centre.

Other maps and leaflets about Lenton

In 2004, I produced a 4 page leaflet celebrating the 25th anniversary of Lenton Community Association, called The historic heart of New Lenton. It includes a map showing New Lenton in the early 20th century before Abbey Bridge was constructed.

My Dunkirk and Lenton Community map dates from 2005 and is best printed at a fairly high resolution and is intended to draw the attention of local residents and visitors to all the locations which are within easy walking distance of the area.

My Exploring Lenton leaflet (complete with map) dates from 2007 and covers 2xA4 pages in full colour. It takes the form of a walk of just under 2 miles and identifies 43 points of historical interest along the way. It is this map and leaflet which led to the Discovering Lenton Walk.

All maps have been designed to print out satisfactorily in black and white.
