to the website for the Nottinghamshire Local History Association, which was formed in 1953 to bring together people and organisations interested in all aspects of local history in the county. Our aim is to keep members in touch with current developments in local history and to this end we hold two day-schools a year covering a wide range of subjects.
We publish The Nottinghamshire Historian twice a year and members receive a copy of each issue as part of their subscription. We also maintain a list of all the local history societies in the county and a diary of events. The cost of being a member is only £6 a year, so why not join us today!
